I know this for sure;
it's why I dwell so secure.
I'll never enter a casino;
my soul to avoid any limbo.
This notion may sound drab;
go ahead, take your stab.
But I know with unwavering certainty;
chasing money brings no guaranty.
No one can serve two masters;
if pursued, there is only disaster.
If you only serve money, then mark my word;
you'll always be searching for life's true password.
The love of money is the root of all evil;
why not avoid the deceptive betrayal?
The promise of riches, bright lights and atmosphere;
distracting your conscience like a magnetosphere.
I know this for sure;
it's why I dwell so secure.
I'll never, ever enter a casino;
my soul never to experience vertigo.
