hidden beneath my eyes,
rolling thund'ring bleeding,
my faults, yours, in disguise.

all it is, is feeling
flowing against the wind,
the tide the pull the sea
of gravity unseen.

close my eyes, submission,
immersed in deep blue grey;
of all you show or don't;
all whispered or unsaid.

breathing to catch some air
you've exhaled sometime past;
that scent that smile that hair,
disappear all too fast.

just as you would, i know;
no worry no reprise,
too soon too much i've felt,
all kept, deceived by lies.

to protect you, me, you,
what precious deep inside,
which might've happened then
when chance you could stay by.

so all 'tis but a dream,
unreal absent i sigh;
just think it a myst'ry
when we lock eyes and smile.
