how it feels to talk to someone who is "asleep"

"i woke up around 4:30 am...i must've called you a thousand times..."

...when finally you picked me up to receive me...
still...i laid and died hearing your naked breath.
we were a tragedy...a lack...a missing dialogue.
we were connected only through various eyes,
a million ears, and dwelling souls.
moons continued to shine while i thought of the moment;
suns nevertheless brought forth their endless warmth;
and could the stars ever stop being beautiful?

liberated was i with the sound of your murmur,
but equally severed by residual kisses and passionate hunger;
my soul yearns for your embrace.
amazed as i stood against the night,
fighting the sunrise...let night continue its empty hostility.
let darkness swallow me into its mystery...its clouds;
let me be clouded...be surrounded by your dispersed questions,
and your inability to be near.

i can hear you breathe.

one more vision of you...
one more innocuous sound from you...
...let me be overwhelmed by your uncertainty and trepidation:
let me cure you.
shall i create this moment for you?
let such proximity create in me a victim of your verdict;
i am guilty.

and still within the lands of my disparity,
your value awaits no nemesis...
...forever you must stay high in my heavens.
even if i must be thrown away into oblivion,
you shall stay a miracle within the parameters of my limits,
...my virulent tragedy.
you know...just as the sun...the moon...the stars...
never could they fade.
save me from this somber immortality,
...and tell me you miss me.
