Being and older kinda guy,
I walk at the mall to stay spry.
Everyday I hoof it on down,
Shedding pounds, don't wanna be round.
I don't walk with the older set,
Rather watch all the sweet Yvette's.
I look, don't mind saying I do,
Beauties on parade for me to view.
I said I look, I do not leer,
How can I not, they are so dear.
They are there and struttin' their stuff,
I think they are calling my bluff.
When their eyes catch mine as they can,
Do I come off a dirty old man?
I'd surely hate that, but you see,
I'll look 'til I die, because that's just mee.
I never feel they are hostile,
Once in a while I see a smile.
At least it's the start of a grin,
What's on her mind I wonder then.
Such a small thing, a smile or two,
What does it mean, I haven't a clue.
I can have daydreams about it,
Wondering if that smile was legit.

If a young woman looks as you and smiles, I would say that she is pretty self-confident and enjoys getting response from men of all ages by their body language and facial expression. I have experienced that and find it enjoyable. Poem worthy, hell yes!
But I believe Jane is absolutely right.
