Six wild cats in a cage,
Glare hungrily at me,
Through the iron cage,
Their yellow eyes fixed intent,
They growl deeply from within,
Terror runs down my spine,
And I literally shake,
As I imagine no barrier between us,
I want to flee away,
From these predators of prey,
Me, A juicy piece of flesh,
In their eyes no doubt,
As their trainer shouts,
And whips them into order,
To do their acts here,
As we sit among the audience,
Here in this mad circus,
I wouldn't want to be in his shoes,
Nay! No need to meet,
The king of the Jungle.
