A long time ago,
When I was once a child,
In braided pigtails,
Of brunette mixed with gold,
Smart, Naughty, Cheeky,
And quite contemporary,
I envisioned a morrow,
Without feelings of sorrow,
That I would never regret,
My Actions, nor forget,
About the past,
Which would be passed,
As I look forward to a world,
Not grey, But colourful,
As children may play free,
Without mortars and wars,
As Families may remain together,
In the comfort of warm homes,
A must for every child,
To keep our faith and continue,
And say our prayers together,
Under the very sky blue.
