The great desert sands,
Of the Sahara,
Witness a new tragedy,
Where people are killed,
For the very reason,
Of having different skin,
Arabs and Africans,
Had once mixed so well,
Never a problem before,
As trade and religion,
Intermarriage had blended all,
But now a cause for death,
As hatred and power has maddened,
The very people of Sudan.
something is happening in the world today that is so tragic, people who once lived happily killing one another...but it is not limited to only war, the violence in the world seems to be increasing
thanks for this write, Esra. i pray for the people of this war-torn country and its victims of genocide as often as i can and for some response from the world community
