Wishin you a pleasant dream,
To wash away scars of yesterday,
When thou were once a child,
Too young to speak and fight,
Your rights never acknowledged,
As pressure and stress built up,
You never had joy and laughter,
Yet still, The world is now no better,
Earthquake, Tsunami, Katrina,
Natural Disasters, War, Casualty,
All hover above ominously,
And yet I ask you to be merry,
To rejuice in life today,
Free of grown-ups dictating destiny,
And maybe the sun may shine,
More brightly orange than ever,
Radiating warmth and harmony,
With rays that may reach out,
To all and many.
