An ornate girl was she,
Like a porcelain doll,
Skin pale and creamy.
Graceful and tall,
She was royalty-to-be,
A naive bride,
We would no more see.
She tried to hide,
But media would bombard.
How personal lives were
Ruined and shattered sour.
The wedding is tomorrow,
Her mother in grief and sorrow.
A child-like precious daughter,
Would never shout out laughter.
Grim responsibilities lay ahead,
No more going out to buy bread.
Prince Charming
Has chosen his princess.
Let us hope he shall always caress,
Her youth and needs,
Require answers and feeds.
Our blessings to the couple,
May the young man remain supple.
We all wish a happy ending,
With children and happiness lasting.
