Oh Nile!
Thou art so great,
A witness to history's gate.
We sail upon you,
On a luxury boat blue.
Cairo, a city ancient,
Rich in culture and heritage.
Lovely warm weather,
Feeling never better,
I wander and dream,
Of Cleopatra's beauty cream.
The love and passion,
Between her and the Roman,
Was very romantic and great,
But for blind fate!
Oh Pyramids and Sphinx!
Thou stand straight and tall,
Unyielding to Time's toll,
To the dust and wind,
They try and resist,
Throughout Time to exist.
A monument for the Pharaohs,
Built with hope and efforts,
A desire to remain eternal,
In the core of every mortal.
