A warm home we have to come to,
Saved from the cold outside,
A bowl of hot porridge we eat,
Saved from pangs of hunger,
A few shiny dimes tingle in our pockets,
Saved from lavish spending,
A couple of old friends chat online,
Saved from the isolation of humanity,
A bit of happiness is searched by all,
Saved from man's nature of ungrateful Irony!
Most don't appreciate what they have till it's taken away. Time to be thankful for the simple things in life. I like the perspective given in your words.
