Everything depends on your POV.

The world looks different at night
Where some see only the darkness
I see adventures in shadow and light
There is life and love in the blackness

The night air is cleaner and fresher
The sounds are softer, more melodic
For me, the dark brings less pressure
As the sun falls I become rhapsodic

The night takes on a feeling of peace
While the rest of the world lies sleeping
Mother Earth renews her daily lease
This rebirth her promise keeping

Some people know the night isn’t evil
The night, the dark is the best of time
The proof that we’ve gone full circle
Living through the night is so sublime

I agree, only because I'm a night owl.

I'm in full agreement that nighttime is the best time for activities and not a time to be frightened of. Still, I'm certainly glad for that line about the Mother Earth renewing her leash every day to bring on a new dawn.

You are probably right-on about the night, but you have to admit (maybe?) that eil lurks in the night, more so I believe than in the day.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.

Enlightenment Dialogues: A Journey of Post-metaphysical Onliness Awake by Martin Treon

This combined narrative dialogue and play is about the uncreated, unborn and undying transcendent Self of God-consciousness and Buddha-nature. It describes an odyssey of transcendent Consciousness Awakening and Remembrance.
