Another day beneath the sun for me as men see only waves of heat shimmer from my hulking, mammoth face eyes fast upon lifeless shell beneath a crumbling brow housing untamed, ancient spirits whose hearts now beat as one with mine muffled chanting deep within remains knowing that if this thin crust of life feeding from their Mother’s back should pass it would leave only tiny, tiny scars.

Brilliant imagery! A "sculpting" with words, for certain.
