Early one morning while walking the shore
I picked up a fish bone bleached white by the sun
Now something was different about this fish bone
I looked all around made sure I was alone
This fish bone why it began singing a tune
About the sunshine and the glow of the moon
About the lake waters and diving so low
For once I wished someone would be there to show
But still by myself held this fish bone which spoke
Open did my eyes from my dream I awoke
Something poked my hand and it caused me to moan
I looked down and saw the most pure white fish bone

Jane, my dear friend, it makes me so happy to see you on General Jack D. Ripper's Big Board, here to the right (of course; it's AuthorsDen)at number five at this writing.
And you know you're always number one with me, though I've been banned from the big board for a few years now. Write on. You're on the big board.
You must have been very tired to have fallen asleep at the seashore… It's a wonder you didn't fall in and drown. But then, you wouldn't be here to write this silly poem about a fish bone that sings.
Sally shucks sea shells by the sea shore. There now, let's make a round.
Well if I was fishing that day I'd have to say that's the fish that got away. Sure is a nice fishy tale that shows how the imagination can run wild. You have some good ones.
