"Back in the day".............who said that?

Poem Artwork

There was a day you could bounce
Quarters off of my ass
Being a good girl raised nice
Polished touch of some class

They called me Plain Jane
Nearly drove me insane
Friends of mine down deep inside
They could be such a pain

There was a day that I showed
Too much down at the beach
On Sunday morning in church
List'ning to Pastor preach

Oh yeah! Love it, Jane; although I have never thought of you as "plain." ☻ Love and best wishes,

I even like the title. For some of us, pay-pal might be the only way. ha ha ha. I will ask, are they the knobs on the door? I like the the poem. Great imagery.

Much better than my girlfriend, Doris. They affectionately called her, "Door Ass."

Way to break out girl! Only wish I was there on that beach that day. And, to hell with that dirty minded old preacher!

That sure is a nice onion! My girls tell me that mine looks like that. Bouncing quarters off of it. Threatening pictures on the Internet!

Jane, I should have just forgot about that dang 'chew and the bread', but don't think mama gave me enough quarters in my pocket to come back with that on my bike from the store!!
I would have done more moanin' and groanin' than from even swallowing that tobacco, and in a better way, ha!!
Mama, Can I go "back" to the store , but I need a few more quarters!!

Sounds like "plain Jane" isn't so plain after all. What fun. If the photo is any standard, I'd call that perfection. John

You can sit in church on Sundays,
and listen to the pastor preach.
But if you wanna go to heaven,
just look for Jane on the beach.
