Although the weather has been magnificent here in River Forest, Illinois, I know winter is on its way! Until it hits, I am going to enjoy these unusually beautiful days of late Fall.

I think those dog days are long gone. But it's creeping up on 84° today so summer is hanging around in these parts until a cold front comes through tomorrow afternoon and ruins everything.

It's not even Thanksgiving yet where you celebrate summer and fall's plenty. It's like these Christmas sales popping up all around. Give fall romance some time and a chance… Please? ;-)
Ahhh . . . Down here in the swamp, it is a wonderful 78 degrees and feels just fantastic. Will be walking my mutt in shorts and t-shirt . . . Ain't life just grand?
