I had a solid 17 years sober, had a slip, and here I am sober again. 'Not saying that I do not partake of nature's herb on occasion. Love ya's!

Poem Artwork

Inspired tonight
I've got to write
About the course
What's wrong what's right

Went left center
Fender bender
Insurance hike
I rode a bike

Looking back at
I looked like "shat"
Just skin and bones
Nights all alone

"Got it!" one day
Fears fell away
Stronger for it
And all that shit

Love ya!

Jane

Easy to relate to this one, whether from a personal POV or an objective observation of that fine line between "Buz" and "wasted". Stay with whatever works for you... as long as it doesn't waste you.

So disgusting are you "heads" that partake of the herb...I wouldn't know as I am still the angel I was at birth...LOL, -e- :)

The true tale of a survivor, well and meaningfully shared, Jane. Love and best wishes,

Fortunately, you have the strength. There are far to many who don't. Just take it one day at a time.

How we do (do we) learn from adversity. It's the only way to go because adversity indeed will come. John

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
