I even surprised myself with the ending! LOL!!

Daisy dukes work boots
Flannel shirt tied in a knot
Summer lasted all year long
Heard a dif'rent drummer's song

Raising kids such fun
"We had seasons in the sun."
Doing what we had to do
Took away from me and you

Now the winter's long
Hear a dif'rent drummer's song
Take his drumsticks build a fire
Warm these bones remove my ire
