All in a dream.

Poem Artwork

Surface lovely from the bottom
Glist'ning waters suns reflection
Last breath taken half way down
Glad I wore this pale blue gown

Troubles plenty now behind me
Hurting blaming all that bad be
Bloating makes the gown fit tight
My hair flows with currents might

Came back where I came from first
So much water yet I'm thirsty
Memories of being here
Where life started hold me dear

Wow! There's some great imagery here. Eerie, haunting, longing, and kind of creepy. I think you covered them all.

"Glad I wore this pale blue gown" I imagine you and everyone else was glad you wore that particular gown, Jane, it looks impressive on you in this superb dream of yours.

There is a dreamy romantic feel to the poem that belies the title, perhaps symbolic, a return to primordial waters. . .
