A Writer Named Ron

There once was a writer named Ron,
Whose novels would make readers yawn--
They claimed he was great
But they all couldn't wait
For his brilliant oeuvre to be gone.

LOL praise and boredom.
perfectly formed comic limerick playful, ironic, and self-aware.
Short, sharp, and rather wickedly literate.

I'm tempted to try being clever here, but prudence requires otherwise. Essentially all I can say is "WOW" and snicker quietly behind my hand (although your piece actually deserves thunderous cachinnation!).

A poet, with a bow taut and true,
Shot an arrow right up the wazoo.
It found its mark fine,
With a sting like off-wine.
The target would cringe, if it knew!
