New American Revolution

On the streets and in the schoolyards,
In the libraries and shops
I can hear people talking,
I can see them standing up.

Sick and tired of corruption,
Lies on national TV,
I can hear the eruption
Of the calls of liberty.

They won't listen to your broadcasts,
They are using their brains--
They are no longer sleeping,
Having broken the chains.

You've tried to shut them down
With impostors in DC--
But the people are uprising
In the name of liberty.

You can bring your phony charges,
Steal elections with deceit,
But you cannot stop the movement
That will lead to your defeat.
