Started this with a humorous note, though as I wrote memories came forth... so no longer is it humor, just a negative testament to the time we live in...

Brother of mine, Make me feel fine, The priest down the way, Did start me in this direction I say… It was his collar, As well he did offer a dollar, He and you both did make me holler, Though I would have wished my virginity saved, But I was smaller, both of you taller… Pain for me, pleasure for you, You made me feel quite altogether blue, I thought you said I would like it, But instead I bleed and have no clue, Why must this happen, why from who I trust, you…? © ed ~ 2/20/06

I hope that this is a ficticious write as far as you are concerned, Ed but the reality is that this happens far too many times and society simply turns their head away and pretends that everything is just fine.

No wonder you've lost faith in God, when two "trusted" men of the cloth abused you. I'm sorry this happened to you. If it were me in charge of judging (and thank God I'm not), they'd be history. No question. Bastards don't deserve to live, betraying innocent lives.

Brother and brother, eh. Hope this is fantasy, Ed. My take on pedofiles? For first offense of molesting a child under the age of twelve . . . death . . . no reprieve. Why under twelve? Have to draw the line somewhere.

Awwwwwww...sometimes I wonder if kids really know what big brothers can do to them!! I am sorry it happened to you my dear friend....I can kinda relate to the feeling!!

ED this one wrenches the heart! I always felt if anyone did that to my sons they'd die for it. Glad I never had to murder , but think I could have under those circumstances. I'd feel the same about a daughter, because to me rape of any kind damages the psyche and in some instances ruins a person for most of their ife. Especially children....Excellent write on the topic.
