i dreamt of you last night

we were  at a farewell party

it was no big masquerade

no romantic place like Paris or Italy

just an old cold room without a color scheme

there were no lobster being served

no cavier or calamari

no mussels floating in garlic sauce

i guess that was to show how much

i meant to you

i danced around all of the people

with the biggest smile on my face

you sat in the corner watching

like a little boy

you had a look on your face like

you wanted forgiveness and

goodbye could not be the last option

then you got up and walked towards me

you had a look on your face like

you wanted happier times at that moment

and then i awoke

thankful to have the last farewell.
