Light of the Earth
The sun had just risen
Stood naked in his path
Attracted by her elegance
Beauty of dawn
Staring at her
With a lover’s gaze
Enjoying the moments
By the hilly east side meandering
Till time send him away
Further up in sky
Where the glare
Of his rays
Cover up his body
Then it becomes too bright
To stare him in the eye
The world soon shies
At his acrobatic show above
But the beauty of his poses
Glamour of his morning gaze
Like orange gems sparkling in blue
And cheeks filled with liquid glow
The cloud mesmerized
Covered him with robe
His loveliness undercover
Not for eyes of any other
She darkened the sky
And flooded the streets
But the sun was no loser
He peeped from beneath her
For a glimpse of great wonders
Earth’s rich valleys and meadows
Mountains and rivers
Are treasures of his heart
O light of the earth
See the universe foxtrot in your path
but attract...Turning to poetry helps
to put words to the passion and excitement
that such attraction inflames...Your poem's
exhilarating for its sheer earthy audacious
passion-love-and-romance...
Thank you, J.K. for sharing your allegory.

Superb!
