The heart of a woman is tender and sweet

It hears  all you say with in  the heart

Your whispers, dreams, your  restlessness in love

She yields, your wish her command

While afar in skies her heart flies like a bird on trees it hops

Is found circling in its spot in heat

Echoes of your clarion call disturbs.

The heart of a woman , like an Aphrodite I

The Greek goddess of love , beauty and pleasure

How I hear the song of songs and sing along

“ My perfume  it spreads as  fragrance”

Like the spikenard plant Origen

That emits its scent when its hairy stem is rubbed

I come like a dove with apples and raisen cakes

Aphrodisiac fragrant, bush of henna entwines

Do not stir up my passion more my love!

I am lovesick for your embrace now

Let us  feed among the flowers until  day break

Upon the mountain Bether with fragrant spices

You run your senses, touch, sight and tongue

Over the realms of my body

The scent of your perfume, urge my lips to drip with honey

Orchard of pomegranate, you unlock in my garden

My pleasant fruit ,was always a delight to your senses

My skin,the color of wheat

The south wind blows with warmth and moisture

My beloved come into my garden

The flowers like towers on the wall

Stand in defense to tease

I yearn for you

While you walk about

Drink the wine

Set about  yourself near the Lilies

That graced the banquet  hall

I hold  the rounded goblet bowl of love

Wait for you

While you gathered , eaten and drunk

Feast complete

Wine from the golden grapes

 Tears for  my eyes

Still I wait  for you are my love.

I'm with John. You seem to cater to a fickle love bred of a manly pursuit of other womanly charms than your own. So you retire to your garden of delights where your cup runneth over and you wait for his sated self to return.

Can I top what Jerry has already said. I don't think so. You seem to delve into the heart of the matter and come out with patience and anticipation. Well done. John

Ah, what a great poem you have given us. Every verse delved into the heart, nay, the very dynamic soul of women. Yes indeed, this was a mighty fine write, to say the least!
