‘And we are Free’ See us in our sad existence, Our troubled times of turmoil As we wait upon the shore, For our deliverance The hesitation of hopes slain, Hidden in our minds Trapped by our impotence, In the face of adversities Yet dreamers dream In far horizons, As the seas of life Beat upon the shore A mighty swell arising in our hearts Our human spirit renewed, In the tides of our tomorrows And we are free By Mary Cecil

to be 'free' has nothing to do with where we...but who we are.

the wonderful, uplifting poem. While I often write about dismal things like the end of the earth or civilization. I think the 21st-century is still the best century to have lived in so far. There will be opportunities here that will far surpass anything that we have seen available before. Each century is better than the last. I would enjoy it for all it's worth until it's gone.
