‘Dreams Eternal’ Could I summon you to my heart? From dreams awaken and fly to me Across eternal seas, As I long for you. You’ll make haste to catch the wind, Sails unfurl with sunburnt hands I know so well To reach and take my hand And hold me close. We would frolic under golden skies, In days suspended From uncertain reality And destiny’s desires Until then my love I’ll drift in dreams remembered Of love complete In the sweetest realms of imagination By Mary Cecil
