‘Paradise Lost’
Ever sweet those days,
Spent happily with you
Moments that cling to my heart,
The joy in days remembered
You left the stage of life
The curtain drawn on your intrepid spirit,
Seeking the secrets of the depths
The magnificence of your explorations
Still those waiting dawns
Where you and I would be,
Now ocean breezes blow gently
A lingering caress of paradise lost.
‘Written with love’
In memory of my husband
Rathlin Islander, Thomas Cecil
Who died exploring the wreck of the ‘Tuscania’
21st September 1997.
