'Symmetry of Death'
In the perfect symmetry of our world,
Every turning moment
There's tears raining down,
For what we do
The skies are burning,
The icebergs where polar bears watch
Their world melt away
Flows a melody of silent sorrow
To the great whales who die,
Tangled and tortured
In the nets and garbage,
From our uncaring lives
To the tiny bees buzzing,
Before the flowers die
In the rain of chemical annihilation,
That flows from us
The very air that coats the earth,
In waves of glistening oil
From cars and stacks,
In the deadened streets where lonely people lie
As we kneel in churches and pray,
For peace as we wage the war
Against all existence,
The hymns of death we do not hear
