A poem to inspire
'Living at Midnight' Living at midnight In the cusp between yesterday And tomorrow Floating on dreams Wanting the warm blankets To console my heart That everything has been The best it could be To take it all and lay it The joys, the splendour The measures of happiness On silken sheets When life's unknowns Reach out to mould me Into resistance against The unexpected, the randomness The indifference That fate might bring Beyond the living edge Of midnight ©Mary Cecil
