Romantic yearning
'I want you' I want to let those feelings flow, To go where you go For you to be, In the love, I know I want to see what you see, When you look at me In those mad moments, If you'll let me I want to know everything, That you know Be everywhere you are, And let those feelings flow I want you to want me, To be with me In our perfect lives, To just let it be so ©Mary Cecil

You had me when first i saw your wide smile
your glorious red hair, and your spot on the map.
I was trapped in your charm at your honesty and
your humility. Couldn't get free if I tried.
And I'm not trying.

There is a yearning here that is almost unrequited. For we cannot ever really see what the other person is thinking. They may hold it back for fear of hurting us and never reveal it. But the idea of, "floating free," is what all of should be. The melding of hearts and minds into a single flow that goes on forever in the minds of lovers.

A tender, insightful love poem and poem of longing. I especially like the use of repetition to engage the reader and draw him/her inside the spirit of the poem. Fine work.
