OMG, Mary, what a beautiful poem!
If only I had known that you were up there on that little island
i maight well have changed my plans.
Instead I watched the sun go down on Galway Bay
beacause I had loved that song even longer than I
knew of your whereabouts. Still, the tentacles of me
spirit reaches out to ya and sends ya warm kisses!
There is certain timelessness in your poem. The ancients sat on that same shore and watched the same sunset. But it is doubtful that there were boats sailing by.
