'Perceptions' Constellations of perceptions In my life, Contours of perfection Flowing memories Of fire and light I longed to keep The distant echoes Of triumph and glory Mingled with sorrow for you That I could not keep And where are you now The love and the loving Starry skies and burning dawns The freedom to be The truth that remains When I fade away To be where you are And leave behind The perceptions In my life ©Mary Cecil

While somewhat surreal, I find this poem lovely to read. It also tells me that we all have filters that form our perspective of what is going on that may not be the same as others. I hope that I have not misperceived your poem.
