I woke and thought of 'I lost you' and so this poem was born.

'I never lost you'

There's perfume from the roses,
After the rain falls
The stars drape the heavens,
In the darkest night

The melody from a song remembered,
Brings joy to the heart
The breezes fill the wings,
Of every bird that flies

The storms on the oceans,
Inspire our imagination
You can find yourself,
At the end of a great journey

You're still here,
I never lost you
You bring me joy,
In every reminiscence

You are there in every dark night,
The wings that make me fly
The inspiration in every storm,
The joy that lives in my heart

I believe you have lost him, but not his spirit that fuels your ability to write these wonderful poems of the way you see your world with him guiding you.

I envy anyone who can find strength in memories.
I'm cry-baby and want to turn back the clock.
But you, sweet Mary, are like the tide that lifts all boats.
You bring joy every time you write.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
