A romantic appeal.
Shall I write a song for you Will you hear it like a storm Upon your heart Will those words sing To your soul In the dark hours of night Or slip like a ripple on a wave You saw on some far ocean Fading from your sight Will it chant like a hymn In a cathedral of desires Or fall into the noise Of your day Tell me the depth of your thoughts In echoes to me Shall I be glad to hear it Or wish it away That song I wrote for you ©Mary Cecil

I don't know? Depends on how good the song is. I just wrote a poem about a song that haunts me quite often.
