'Flames of my Existence'
I want a reprieve
From those unforgiving hours
Don't let me forget
Those moment to remember
Mingled with regrets
For the wings of passing time
That carried away
The promises and yet
There's yearnings
Fine dreams
The tales and stories
The visions that linger
All the words we said
Of how things would be
And they remain
With all the sorrows
They contain
In the burning flames
Of my existence
Don't let them leave
In the rush
Of passing time
Let me keep them
Wrapped forever
In the yearning moments
Of my life
