When the sun rises early

Or at dusk when it sets down

The clouds come close

 And kiss the ground?

Ever feel

Heaven is near

And you’re walking the sky

When clouds

Come down and meet the eye?

Ever notice how

They hang o’er hillsides and roads

All heavy and thick

Covering all like

A soft feather tick?

Ever see

They pick up colors

Given off by the sun

Hues of pink and orange

Looking oh so awesome?

It is

The artists delight

A child’s dream found

When clouds come down

And kiss the ground
