Time is the giver of all things
New, old, good, and bad

It gave to you a love
That will go on forever
Even in the absence of the other

It gave to you four children
Healthy and loving
They all are born of you

And of these children
It gave to you many grandchildren
To love and cherish through your years

Of course the bad has come
And it lingers in pain
But you will have more good
Before your time is done
