I’ve seen the sky painted in colors From the dawning morning light To the coming of the dark night This daily always changing canvas Whether in the joyous days of life Or sorrowing in the depths of grief An artist’s impassioned vision Never to be captured by words Or duplicated on paper boards An event repeated twice a day Over a crystal facetted ocean Or staggering peaked mountain Wondrous displays of nature Horizon giving us a treat Never the same in a repeat Who will take the time to see This spectacular daily beauty Perhaps it is only you and me

The canvas changes every day. It is telling us that there is no constant in life - only God.

I do enjoy looking at what He paints every day and night.

Great Write!

I wish I could watch the sun rise and set with you every single day!
We've had some beautiful sunsets lately, the sunrises are okay, there isn't enough moisture in the air to create the beautiful colors you and I like.
