The thrill that races in your blood When you hear the simple news Of happy tidings or desired outcomes The smile that sneaks to your face When you get closer to your goal That has been near or far away That giddiness that fills your soul When you see the end in sight Pushing against all odds to succeed That love that explodes in your heart Grasping the object of your affection Absent no more from your being
