Testing the tale, I traveled slowly

The path I traveled does continue
The light I watched doesn’t go dim
The sound I heard stays constantly strong

Suddenly the path came to an end
Without warning the light I watched dims
In a moment the music was gone

Proven false the path came to an end
Proven false the light has become dark
Proven false the music was silent

Disappointed I stand at the end
Blinded by the darkness I still stare
Deafened by the silence I can’t hear

Slowly I realized there is no end
Hesitantly I saw again
Silently the sound returned again

I walked forward and create my own path
I watched the horizon for the sun
I made my own notes to new music

I proved the path doesn’t end
I see the new light that showed the way
I created music to fill my ears
