Something that screamed to be written.

Words on the page melt away
Music in the air fades to silence
Sweetness of sugar turns bitter

Poetry has lost its meaning
Violins have grown toneless
Candy has become sour

Senses have abandoned me
Life is but a stage play
Meaning has been lost

See the world continue
Without you I am nothing
All that remains is a dying husk

Praying to a silent God
Hoping for a turn from this
I wait for the breath to stop

Without you I can’t live
Time is my enemy
Only one thing left to do
That is to release my grip on life
