Sometimes, as a year
nears its’ end,
if all one’s
attributes of consciousness
align favorably,
it may appear
that fall falls timelessly,
that is, imaginings
of contemplative quietude
may portend winter to come
but also remember
summer passed
Yet, it seems so often
we find but minimal repose
when we exhaust our
armaments of individuality
and right living against
those who for their own
selfish gain or need for
power express half truths
and complete falsehoods
in their attempts
to thwart actions which
in their souls and minds
even they know would
make America great again
And those whose goal
it is to make life better
are often the targets
of troublemakers who
wish to steal the wealth,
integrity, and even well-being
of the working classes,
and redistribute those assets
and intangible aids of
survival to losers, crybabies,
and haters of America
Thus, today as autumn
fades, our prayer is
that those leaders who
fight the tyranny of
left-wing extremism
would be allowed
to help America,
and that those who
exist in Congress only
to further their own
political and monetary
agendas, would stop
wasting legislative time
and taxpayers dollars

I agree that extremism, name-calling, and petty, personalized attacks do not solve our problems. There is a great need to provide a equal playing field for entrepreneurship, fair wages for a fair days work (Texas pays $8 per hour to caregivers like mine--trying living on that--minimum wage is $7.25 and hasn't changed in years). Sure, it hurts small business. But nobody should have to work at those wages.
What you overlook is, for example, the current situation where as high as 60% of college teachers are on contract as adjunct professors. They have no benefits and some are paid so little, even with doctorates and post doctorates, that they have to live in their cars. The whole compensation system is geared towards money and not towards the well-being of citizens. Ask the Wisconsin farmers. They may tell you that they think it's the left wing regulations and taxes that are killing them (while saving their farms from poisons offered in the private sector) when it is the commodities market that buys the cheapest from all over the world and doesn't give a holy shit whether Wisconsin farmers get their due are not. People are now buying stupid almond milk while California is burning from almonds sucking up all the aquifers… Go figure.
