My wife has a special bond with animals...
*Dancing…* Evelyne is dancing With our cat. She says she’s danced With all our pets, With Prince and Ned, Our beloved dogs, And with so many cats I cannot name them all. With joy she twirls and steps With Frannie in her arms, Who watches warily, Until the music and joy Overtake her, too. What bliss this moment is For the two of them, And for me.

I can picture the cat leaping from her arms and running for cover. On the other hand, if she's held in a warm and cozy fashion and swayed gently to the music, I can see how the cat would even fall asleep.
