The Grand Prize

There is a subway inside my mind

That can travel at the speed of sound.

Whenever I need a lift, it's there.

To wisk me with the greatest care.

 

To places that I've never been

Now and then to beaches for a swim.

I think I'll take a ride today,

To escape the ever haunting fray.

 

Carry me too a scenic place

Where everything is calm.

Where peace resides all year long

And the angels harmonize a song.

 

I think I'll stay it's just too nice.

God welcomes me, he paid the price.

I repented of the wrongs I 'd done-

Heaven is the prize I've won.

Ahhh ... yes. Heaven, and eternity in His presence is hard to penetrate and wrap your head around. Thank God though ... Now, George, one thing, I think that i would prefer Eagles wings to a subway - far too many stinky bodies on subways. (-: peace ...
