Time is relative because we have a frame
of reference and hence speeds by quickly
However these past few days I have
discovered that when one lies in bed sick
with no frame of reference of time it moves
quite slow.
Perhaps this is our reckoning when we are
forced to slow down, we take note of what
is around us to the tiniest detail. I find
this is not a bad thing, but enlightening :)

It's funny how life seems to speed as time passes. At least you're filling your time with something important.

With these, almost daily, poems, you are saying a lot. Just keep it up and before you know it, you'll be moving as fast as time.

when i was in my 30's i told my mom that couldn't wait to get old just to see what happened to all the people i cared for...well now i've seen most of it and am looking forward, but not in a hurry, to see the 'rest of the story' and i now know what she meant by 'sooner than you know you'll be searching for your 'time-brakes'

I marvel at the way speed seems to speed up and yes even race us along the older we get. Looking back...no regrets, it got me where I am today.

The tick-tock never stops. We look back on things laying in the waste of our forgotten past and realize we could have done so much to make looking back more pleasurable.
