There's magic in the words that flow,

But they are buried, as if by snow.

Placing a thought on a page,

Makes some apper as a sage.

I wonder, and then it's gone-

A thought that was not meant

To have a life all its own.

But soon another is born.

Marrying words, completes

What poets like to think their own.

And if they strike a chord in you,

The poet is then worth his due.

We all want to touch the ones that read our poems, in that sense, we are all alike.
