Is love the cliff I must climb Before I reach the summit of your heart? If it is, I will gladly climb it Just to know you will be mine. There are no barriers I fear, If in the end you are there. For one touch of you Sets my heart on fire. Please be waiting when I arrive, For my heart is lost without you. There will be no tomorrows, When I hold you close in my arms.

Beautiful and heart-warming romance, George, that makes every gal feel like Rapunzel awaiting her Knight to reach her imperious tall tower. I have been so pleased to note that your return to our family here at the Den has marked what seems to be a Renaissance of the Carroll fervour and poetic pen and, as always, you go from strength to strength in one way or another. Just off to Derbyshire where it will be all mists and peaks, so I hope I'll find you there to rescue and keep me safe! :))
