Why are some so unbelieving?

Need to feel and touch to believe.

The air you breathe can't be seen;

You feel it but not with touch.

Many things in life are a mystery

But many accept them with no doubt.

Thomas had to see and touch

Before he would believe.

My Lord and my God

Are words he used

When he saw our risen King.

Does God have to prove himself?

A wonderfully written poem that points out what should be obvious to many, but some may not see the strength and truth in your words and that is a pity.

... only to the unbelieving, George! :)) Such will not believe even IF they see, yet peeps put their trust in so much science that is based on unprovable theory and hypotheses. I think faith comes through revelation rather than any amount of teaching and words, which conversely, often do more to distance people. Not so this poem, though. Nicely touched and felt! May He bless you and yours muchly this Chistmastime, dear friend. xx

Whether Christianity or otherwise
the main word is Faith and unfortunately
too many of mankind have faith in no thing...
All one can do is hold them up in prayer and
meditation and hope it is part of their plan
for learning...
