As tenacious as an ocean wave
Are the thoughts that swamp my head.
Always prodding to listen to them,
And find a writers gem.
Seldom has this happened,
To the chagrin of my lofty mind.
I wondered what would Poe or Longfellow
Have done, if placed in my shoes?
I am so thankful to God for my quill.
Never in my wildest dreams
Would I have thought of a poet being.
Yet here I am amongst a brilliant crew.
Paddling to places not quite in view,
But grabbing the oars with a heave,
Hoping one day the shore I'll see.
And sleep forgetting my thoughts.

given talent...

young lasses and laddies what our future would hold eh?
All your memories of every sort stored away within that
wonderful mind of yours... Capturing all your brilliant
penning in your own style with many another...
Such diversity in thoughts with such balance in all areas...
Let us all be grateful for what we are given in our talents...

i humbly Thank You, and share your gratefulness
as I too am also very thankful to His gifts:
"I am so thankful to God for my quill."
